However, it requires the person from the wheelchair to transfer into their seat to experience the ride.The centerpiece of Rocket Jets is a rocket that would look at home on a NASA launchpad, complete with three prominent letters-USA.įrom the central rocket, twelve arms holding open-air rocket vehicles radiate in all directions. The ride lasts for one and a half minutes. However, perched on top of the PeopleMover, this ride moves a lot faster than the other ones. It spins around on an axis and is in that aspect similar to Dumbo and the Magic Carpets of Aladdin. To board, passengers need to step over a small wall and then step down. The Astro Orbiter ride is a little more challenging to board than Dumbo or the Magic Carpets of Aladdin. This is not available for the front seat passenger. They can sit with their legs spread in front of them. The seats leave comfortable leg space for riders to enjoy their rides. The ride allows provisions for adults to ride with children. There are provisions for adults requesting solo rides. There are no side-by-side seat accommodations. The seating arrangement is such that one passenger is seated in front of the other. The Astro Orbiter ride is a two-ride space shuttle, as discussed before. The elevator is popular for its notoriously slow speed of elevating the guests. The Astro Orbiter queue leads straight to the elevator. The Astro Orbiter ride’s queue is as interactive or derailed as other Disney World ride queues. The queue for Astro Orbiters begins from PeopleMovers at ground level.
